When traveling with LU Send, our experienced staff walks with you through a personalized trip development process that begins with your idea and builds to include the strategic integration of the academic, cultural, and spiritual components. Our team is also equipped to connect you with the leading educational travel vendors, local experts, and Christian service organizations at your destination and to assist you with the facilitation of logistics, payments, training, promotions, and compliance requirements. We’ve streamlined the approval process for you by documenting all of the University’s policies for student group travel in one place. When you submit your trip request for LU Send, we’ll walk you through our processes as well as help make sure you’re on track to meet these various requirements. Lastly, LU Send has a library of training resources available to equip you & your students to maximize your travel experiences.
Travel Internationally
As faculty, you are integrally involved in equipping Liberty students to be fully prepared to meet their futures in a globalizing marketplace. LU Send works with you to create cross-cultural opportunities that contribute to your students’ development as lifelong learners and Champions for Christ, wherever their journey takes them. Travel in the U.S.
As the centralized hub for all student group travel, LU Send ensures risk mitigation, a smooth approval process, and executive reporting to the Provost. Having processed 200+ academic trips per academic year, we are glad to walk with you in providing exceptional student group travel opportunities within the United States!
Non-University Travel Disclosure Form
Any Faculty member participating in international group travel opportunities that are not related to the University but which do have Liberty University students attending (i.e. church mission trips) must be disclosed to LU Send no later than 3 weeks before travel. This short disclosure form can be found through the Faculty/Staff Resources Gateway on the www.liberty.edu/lusend website. In addition to registration, none of these international opportunities are to be presented or marketed to Liberty University students on campus without express written permission from LU Send.
