Biography

Dr. Steven E. Keith is the Director of the Liberty University Center for Chaplaincy. In this capacity, he orchestrates the mission of educating and equipping 1519 chaplain students. Additionally, Dr. Keith serves as the Chaplain Endorser of Liberty Baptist Fellowship, endorsing over 650 military, healthcare, prison, FBI, and Secret Service chaplains. Formally, Chaplain, Colonel Steve Keith (USAF Ret.) served as an Active Duty Air Force Chaplain from 1984-2014. He retired as the Commandant of the Air Force Chaplain Corps College. He served in 14 assignments worldwide and deployed several times to the Middle East, most notably to Iraq where he received the Bronze Star for exceptional ministry while under fire. Dr. Keith is married to Delta and they have five children and 14 grandchildren.
