Thousands will rock in 2013 at Winterfest

Thousands will rock in the new year at Liberty University’s Winterfest, the largest Christian New Year’s party in the region.

For two days, Dec. 30-31, the campus of the world’s largest Christian university will be a hotspot of nonstop entertainment. Winterfest 2012 features concerts by top Christian artists, including Liberty alumnus TobyMac, Casting Crowns, Building 429, Kutless, Red, Fireflight, KJ-52, Humble Tip, The Museum, Jamie Grace, and Royal Tailor.

Guests are not only exposed to great music and activities, they are encouraged to grow spiritually. A range of talented inspirational speakers will challenge their faith and group sessions will give Christian peers the chance to help each other delve deeper in their relationships with the Lord.

Between concerts, guests will have the opportunity to explore Liberty’s world-class facilities for swimming, ice skating, indoor soccer, rock climbing, basketball, and much more. Winterfest activities get extreme at Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre, with ample opportunity for snowboarding, skiing, and tubing on the year-round slope, the first of its kind in North America. Last year during Winterfest, more than 2,000 tested their winter sports skills at Snowflex, bringing with them another 2,000 friends and family members.

Two days of high-energy activities and electrifying music will culminate at the stroke of midnight Dec. 31 as the masses ring in the New Year with a balloon drop in Liberty’s Vines Center.

  • A special offer of $10 off individual, concert-only tickets is available now through Dec. 25. Visit www.LibertyWinterfest.com or call (866) 447-2084 for more information.
