As the Fall 2017 semester comes to a close, Liberty University students will get the chance to hear from members of the iconic exhibition basketball team the Harlem Globetrotters next Monday and to celebrate Christmas as a student body next Wednesday.

Known for ball-handling wizardry, basketball artistry, and one-of-a-kind family entertainment that thrills fans of all ages, the Globetrotters will be sharing with students about the mission of the team during the Monday, Dec. 11, Convocation. They will be returning to the Vines Center that evening for a 7 p.m. show. Tickets can be purchased online. The team, founded in 1926, has entertained 144 million fans across 122 countries.

On Wednesday, Dec. 13, Liberty students will get into the Christmas spirit with Christmas Convocation, which will start at 11 a.m. instead of 10:30 a.m. Students are encouraged to wear festive outfits and ugly sweaters as they are entertained by comedy sketches, videos, and Christmas fun. The Convocation will not be streamed live.

There will be no Convocation on Friday, Dec. 15, due to the start of Finals Week.
