UPDATE: Lee Ann Cusi Zipagan’s poster went on to win a silver at the district level, competing against students from public and private colleges and universities in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
Award winners (pictured left to right) are Jael Schultz for her CD design Schindler’s Foot (Silver), Lee Ann Cusi Zipagan for her collateral material poster Love Nature (Gold), and Kathleen Ostrom for her cover design of LU’s literature magazine “The Lamp” (Silver).
Of the 50,000 annual entries in the global competition, the best are selected to receive local, regional and national awards in various categories and on professional and student levels. All Gold ADDY winning entries are automatically forwarded to the Third District ADDY competition with a chance to compete for a national award.
In last year’s competition, Liberty students won three gold and two silver awards.
Liberty’s VCAR degree program includes graphic design, studio art and photography.
