Seminary professor recognized for his work with Korean students
Dr. C. Daniel Kim, a distinguished professor in Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary, was recently recognized in an article by the local Lynchburg News & Advance for his efforts in recruiting Korean students to Liberty.
Kim, 94, has been with Liberty since 1978. His recruiting efforts have impacted the makeup of the community. According to the 1980 census 63 people in Lynchburg identified as Korean. Now, Korean students make up about one quarter of LTBS’s resident population and approximately one percent of the city’s population.
