Liberty extends Easter Holiday through Monday, April 5

The scheduled Easter Holiday at Liberty University for Thursday, April 1 – Friday, April 2, has now been extended by one day to Monday, April 5. No classes will be held on these days.

“This has been such a long, challenging semester for our students, from having to quarantine at the beginning of the term to attending classes virtually during recent snow days. Because the traditional Spring Break could not be given this year due to accommodating the quarantine period in our schedule, we wanted to extend this very special holiday and give them a welcome break,” said Liberty President Jerry Prevo. “This means they will have five whole days off and, most importantly, more time to celebrate as we all reflect on the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and rejoice in what He did for us in His death and glorious resurrection.”

Faculty and staff will also observe the Easter Holiday on Monday, April 5.
