Sen. John McCain, Sen. Lindsey Graham join chancellor, other special guests at football game

As Flames fans cheered their team to a 26-12 victory over Charleston Southern at Williams Stadium on Saturday, some special guests joined in the excitement, among them Arizona senator and former presidential candidate John McCain and U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.

Chancellor Jerry Falwell, Jr. and his wife Becki gave them the opportunity to experience Flames football and view the Liberty University campus from high above in their skybox.

Special guests also included candidates for Virginia’s House of Representatives, Rep. Robert Hurt in the Fifth District and Rep. Bob Goodlatte in the Sixth; and current members of Virginia’s House of Delegates, Del. Scott Garrett, Del. Kathy Byron, and Del. Ben Cline.
