Curious about online courses? Try Online 101

If you’ve ever wondered what goes on inside a virtual classroom … take a peek. Liberty University Online has launched Online 101, a sample online course that allows prospective students, new students and the curious, to experience LU’s online classroom environment prior to enrolling. Users will find an actual course module with all the tools and materials they would be able to access as an online student, including a syllabus, schedule, assignments, quiz and a discussion board, or “DB.” There’s even a DB demo. Like all of Liberty’s online courses, Online 101 is powered by Blackboard, an easy-to-navigate, student-friendly interface.

“We think this sample course will ease any apprehension students may have about online learning,” said John Donges, Executive Director of Liberty University Online. “it’s a great environment, perfectly geared for learning.”

If you’re thinking about taking online classes, or are just curious about how they work, visit Online 101 for an enlightening look.
