This spring on Liberty University’s campus, students will gather twice a week in the Vines Center for Convocation — the largest weekly gathering of Christian students in the world — to hear from outstanding voices in the areas of faith, business, entertainment, and politics. With a variety of voices such as Priscilla Shirer (1/17), Ruth Chou Simons (3/7), and Jefferson Bethke (4/9) set to take the stage in the coming months, Liberty students will get to witness and learn what it means to be a Champion for Christ who impacts the world around them.
The lineup for the Spring 2025 semester, announced during Friday morning’s New Student Convocation, features multiple pastors who will open the Word for students, including Ben Stuart (1/15), Darren Whitehead (1/31), Reward Sibanda (2/14), and Noe Garcia (3/19). Guests with inspiring stories will also stir the hearts and minds of Liberty students, with appearances by Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins (1/22), activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali (2/7), motivational speaker Inky Johnson (2/19), “Soul Surfer” Bethany Hamilton (3/5), and Kent Chevalier, chaplain for the Pittsburgh Steelers, along with Steelers players Alex Highsmith, Payton Wilson, and Miles Killebrew (4/2).

Convocation is held every Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Vines Center and is open to the entire student body. Campus Community, a service featuring messages from members of Liberty’s leadership and special guests, is held every Wednesday at 7 p.m. Most of these events are streamed live on Liberty’s YouTube channel, Liberty’s main Facebook page, and the Office of Spiritual Development Facebook page.
