Liberty to name new football coach at 2 p.m. press conference

Liberty Athletics will hold a press conference on Friday afternoon during which Liberty University President Jerry Falwell and Director of Athletics Ian McCaw will announce Liberty’s next head football coach, the ninth in program history.

The press conference will be held in the Club Pavilion of the Williams Stadium Tower (third floor) and will begin at 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the general public and will be streamed live on an ESPN digital platform and LibertyFlames.com.

Parking for the press conference will be located in the Luurtsema parking lot (behind the Carter Tower) or the Speakman parking lot (Liberty Bookstore).
