Chancellor meets with School of Law’s Federalist Society

Liberty University Chancellor Jerry Falwell Jr. met with law students Tuesday for an informal luncheon, where he shared his own insights and experiences in the legal field, as well as his vision for Liberty University School of Law. After the lunch, he followed up with an engaging Q&A session.
Falwell obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1987. He is licensed to practice in all Virginia state courts, U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Virginia, United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has engaged in the private practice of law in Lynchburg since 1987 and has served as General Counsel of Liberty University, Thomas Road Baptist Church, Liberty Broadcasting Network, and Jerry Falwell Ministries since 1988. He was named Vice Chancellor of Liberty University in 2003 and Chancellor/President last year.
