Brett Fuller, team chaplain for the Washington Redskins, gave a high-energy talk at Friday’s convocation in the Vines Center.
He spoke about enduring conflicts and trials and using them to become a better person. As a father of seven, he used some humorous tales to engage the audience and spoke about how he’s learned to communicate with his wife and build a stronger marriage and family.
He also discussed the impact of the death of Washington Redskins player Sean Taylor on the team. Taylor, 24, died from a gunshot wound he suffered in an apparent armed robbery attempt in November. Fuller said though it was a traumatic event, he has been able to use the experience to talk to others about where they stand in their relationship with Christ.
