Those interested in the life and presidency of Ronald Reagan are welcomed to a lecture by New York Times bestselling author and Reagan biographer Dr. Larry Schweikart on Feb. 27, hosted by Liberty University’s Department of History. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Towns Lecture Hall at the School of Business, and students, staff, and members of the public are invited.
A free market historian who specializes in economic and political history, Dr. Schweikart is the author of the bestseller “The Patriot’s History of the United States,” and his latest work is titled “Reagan: The American President.”
“Dr. Schweikart is a nationally recognized leading conservative and an outstanding communicator who has a unique ability to convey history on a level that is understanding and fun,” said Dr. Samuel Smith, professor of history and department chair. “From this lecture, people will discover why Ronald Reagan was arguably the most important president in the 20th century.”
