Liberty University will have a chance to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a special Convocation lineup next week, featuring a reality TV love story and a comedian relationship expert.

Monday, Feb. 12:

On Monday, Feb. 12, Sean and Catherine Lowe will join Liberty for Convocation. Sean Lowe came into the public eye as a contestant on ABC’s hit reality television shows “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.” He is also the author of the best-selling book “For all the Right Reasons.” The couple gained media attention as they made it a public priority to keep Christ the center of their relationship. The Lowes will be sharing their story of how they found love in the least expected place to kick off the Valentine’s Day themed Convocation week.

Wednesday, Feb. 14:

On Wednesday, Feb. 14, comedian, pastor, and relationship expert Ted Cunningham, a Liberty alumnus, will speak in Convocation for Valentine’s Day. Cunningham, who has been married to his wife, Amy, for more than 20 years, is the author of “Fun Loving You,” “Trophy Child,” and “Young and In Love,” as well as the co-author of “The Language of Sex” and “From Anger to Intimacy.” Cunningham is a featured comedian on the Date Night Comedy Tour and a frequent conference speaker at churches and events across the country. The special Convocation will also feature love songs, funny videos, and free candy for all students.

Friday, Feb. 16:

There will be no Convocation held in the Vines Center on Friday, Feb. 16, as students will have the opportunity to attend Alternative Convocation held by various academic departments. Convocation will return to the Vines Center on Monday, Feb. 19.
