Chancellor Falwell shares plans for several construction projects

Liberty University Chancellor Jerry Falwell, Jr. recently conducted an interview with students at 90.9 The Light, the student radio station, about the growth of the university and upcoming construction projects. The interview was adapted and printed in the Dec. 6 edition of the Liberty Champion, the student newspaper.
In the interview, he highlights many construction projects under way at Liberty, including a new pedestrian tunnel to Wards Road and the Hancock Welcome Center. He highlights planned improvements and additions to sports facilities, including an expansion to the Vines Center, and new plans for academic buildings, including Liberty’s largest project to date: the new Jerry Falwell Library, “a clear statement of Liberty’s committment to academic excellence.”
He also addresses many student concerns, including parking and the new gun policy.
