Disbursement of Federal Loans and Institutional Aid
Federal loans and institutional aid are scheduled to disburse to the school 21 days after the student becomes eligible each semester. The Office of Student Accounts will then issue a refund of any available credit to the student on the 25th day.*
- Eligibility for federal loans begins when the student starts half time enrollment of three credit hours or more, assuming the student meets all other federal eligibility requirements.
- Eligibility for institutional aid begins when the student starts full time enrollment of at least six credit hours or more.
- For all other sources of outside aid, the timing of the disbursement is dependent on when the funds are sent to the school.
*Exceptions may apply.
