LUOA Claim Account

Before You Claim Your Account:

  1. Most students and observers do not have a social security number stored in our system (unless they have an active Liberty University application on file). Instead of putting your child’s social security number in the field, please use nine (9) zeros instead.
  2. When claiming your student’s Liberty Network Account (LNA), you will be entering his or her information. When claiming the observer account, you will be entering the information of the individual who was listed as the observer on the application.
  3. Be sure to follow directions concerning password length and other requirements.
  4. Be sure not to copy and paste the ID for the claim account process. Make sure to type in the full ID, including the “L.”

Student’s Liberty Network Account:

To claim your account, you will need your student ID number. If you have not received this yet, please call (866) 418-8741 or check the email you used on your application. The Liberty Network Account is used for accessing assessment testing, completing Financial Check-In, using your Liberty email account, and accessing future courses.

Parent/Observer Account:

To claim your observer account, you will need your observer ID number. If you have not received this, or if you are unsure if your current information matches what we have on record, please contact us at (866) 418-8741.

The observer account can be used to monitor your child’s progress, communicate with teachers, and even set up an alert system to track your student’s academic experience in his or her courses (does not apply to Dual Enrollment courses).

Set Your Back-up Information for Your Account:

If you are ever locked out of your account and need to reset your password, you will need another method to verify your account. For that reason, you will be prompted to set up an alternate email and/or phone address when claiming your account. Please provide one or both forms of authentication so that you can easily reset your password if you’re ever locked out.
