We recognize the value and importance of community at LUOA. As a result, we’ve planned multiple events that allow LUOA students and families to socialize with each other and get to know our Academy better.
Here are some examples:
LUOA Chapel
At LUOA, we believe it is just as important to grow spiritually and relationally as it is to grow academically. LUOA Chapel is an opportunity for students to hear from exciting and dynamic speakers who are leaders at Liberty University and in our community. Speakers will encourage students to grow spiritually and take next steps that will lead them closer to whatever God has for them. Take a look at some of our previous speakers.
Commencement
Each year, Liberty University’s campus in beautiful Lynchburg, Va., is filled with graduating students from all levels – including LUOA’s graduating seniors! Join us for our annual Commencement activities to celebrate your accomplishments. Check out our Graduation page for more information!
Christmas Celebration
Each year, Liberty University Online Academy hosts its Annual Christmas Celebration! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students and families to meet and interact with our faculty and staff and celebrate the season. Our Annual Christmas Celebration page shows highlights of our last event and will house details about the next upcoming occurrence.
Tailgate
We need your help cheering on the Flames! Join us at Liberty Football’s season opener as they take on Maine on Saturday, Aug. 30. Discounted Tickets will be available starting in July! When you purchase discounted football tickets, you’ll gain access to LUOA’s tailgate at Flames Fan Fest. The whole family can enjoy free food, lawn games, inflatables, giveaways, and more.
PLUS, everyone who joins us at the LUOA tailgate at Flames Fan Fest will have the opportunity to win an LUOA prize pack.
Attend College For A Weekend (CFAW)
High school juniors, seniors, and transfers are invited to discover what life is like at Liberty University at College for a Weekend (CFAW). Spend 3 days exploring campus and see where you will fit in at Liberty University.
Plus we will have special opportunities for LUOA Students to connect with other LUOA Students through special events and meet-ups!
Summer Reading Initiative
Do you enjoy reading? Are you looking to give yourself a challenge while your classes are on break? Our students have an exciting opportunity to participate in our Summer Reading Initiative* each year. See our webpage for more details.
