Student-doctors are registered for predetermined course schedules each semester, and the established curriculum must be followed in sequential order. Student-doctors do not have the ability to modify their course schedules online. Changing courses or credit hours may affect degree completion, account balances, and/or financial aid qualifications. LUCOM student-doctors may view their course schedules through their ASIST account.
To view your course schedule in ASIST, log onto your myLU account using your username and password. Once logged in, select ASIST, and then select Student. Follow the links to Registration, and then select the applicable “Med” term from the dropdown menu. From here, you can choose to view your Student Detail Schedule.
Student-doctors will be assigned to an academic advisor in their first year, and they will keep that same advisor during their four years at LUCOM. The goal of the academic advisor is to provide student-doctors with assistance, guidance, and mentorship, enabling them to achieve the maximum benefit and outcome from their educational experiences. Additionally, advising assists student-doctors in maintaining their quality of life during the time they are associated with Liberty University and LUCOM.
The online Financial Check-In system allows student-doctors to make their financial arrangements, secure courses, and express intended attendance through payment. LUCOM student-doctors are required to complete the check-in process each term. The tool will be available for the upcoming term starting on the first day of registration.
