Registration for LUOA’s 2024 Christmas Celebration opens in Fall 2024. We can’t wait to celebrate Christmas with you!
Every year, LUOA hosts an Annual Christmas Celebration. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet other students and families, as well as LUOA faculty and staff! The day includes a special Christmas Presentation, Liberty University activities such as Snowflex, ice skating, and bowling, fun crafts and activities, a special lunch, prizes, and so much more! Yes! For the LUOA Christmas Celebration, LUOA offers FREE buses to help you get to all of the events and activities! The Bus Loop will include all of the stops so please ride the first bus that is available at your stop. The Bus stops in 4 convenient locations to access the key areas of the LUOA Christmas Celebration:
Montview Student Union and School of Music – Freedom Tower Bus Stop (Academic Lawn)
Reber Thomas Dining Center – Commons I & II Bus Stop
Snowflex – Snowflex Bus Stop
LaHaye Ice Skating Rink – Green Hall Transfer Center
What can I expect on the day of the Celebration?
The day starts with a check-in followed by a kick-off Christmas Presentation featuring Liberty University President, Dr. Dondi Costin. After the presentation, students and guests have an opportunity to participate in any activity they want! Plus, they can join us for a special lunch in Liberty University’s Dining Center! The day ends with a closing rally and a chance to win some exciting prizes in the Montview Alumni Ballroom.
Is there a limit on how many can attend?
No. You are welcome to bring as many guests as you would like. Be sure to register them using the registration form.
What activities are offered?
Students will have an opportunity to ski, tube, and sled at Liberty University’s Snowflex, get out on the ice for some ice skating at the LaHaye Ice Center, and go for a strike at the Montview Bowling Alley.
Do activities cost extra?
No. All activities are included in your registration fee. When you check in, you will have an opportunity to pick up activity tickets for whatever activities you want to participate in.
Are there other things to do outside of the activities?
Yes, there will be fun crafts and cookie decorating throughout the day! No ticket is needed for these, just stop in the Alumni Ballroom at the time of the activity you would like to join us for!
Does lunch cost extra?
No. Lunch for you and all your guests is included in your registration fee. When you check-in, you will have an opportunity to pick up lunch tickets.
Are there food options for those with allergies?
Yes. The Dining Hall Team will have options available for those who have an allergy or specific food needs. Just ask the team when you arrive at the dining hall.
What time is lunch available?
Lunch will be available at The Reber Thomas Dining Center from 11:00am to 1:00pm. You are welcome to come anytime during those hours.
What is the Christmas Scavenger Hunt?
When you check in, your group will receive a Christmas Celebration Scavenger Hunt Card. You will have all day until the closing rally to complete the card. When you attend the closing rally, you can turn your completed card in to receive some exciting prizes!
Will there be an opportunity to tour Liberty University’s Campus?
Yes. We will have campus tours available throughout the day. Plus, Liberty University representatives will be available all day to answer your questions about the school.
Will the LUOA Store be at the Celebration?
Yes. The LUOA Store will be available throughout the day for you to purchase school spirit wear. Might make the perfect Christmas gift for your LUOA student!
Where do I park?
You can park at the Academic Commons Parking Garage or the Runk and Pratt Parking Garage. Here is a campus map.
