    Course Requirements Checklist

After reading the Course Syllabus and Student Expectations, the student will complete the related checklist found in the Course Overview.

    Orientation Assignment

The Orientation Assignment is located within Pearson to allow the student to learn how the program works and how to read and enter answers.  It also reviews some of the policies for this class, but there is no real math content, thus the assignment is only worth 9 points.

    Module Exercise Assignments

The student will complete Module Exercises using the MyMathLab software. The student must earn a score of 70% on these exercises before taking any quizzes that may be present in the same Module: Week.

    Exam Review Assignments (4)

There is an exam review assignment before each test. The exam review will only count as 7 points toward the student’s final grade. Please note, the test will remain locked until at least 70% has been earned on that assignment.

    Exam Assignments (3)

Using MyMathLab, the student will take 3 exams throughout the course. Exams are based on the readings and Module Exercises. For each Exam, the student must first take an Exam Review and earn a score of at least 70%. The exam will remain inaccessible until this minimum score is reached. All exams will have a time limit of 2 hours and 45 minutes.

***The student must submit all written work for the exam questions. Exams submitted without the accompanying work will not be accepted.

    Final Exam Assignment

The student will need to complete a comprehensive Final Exam in MyMathLab. A comprehensive Final Exam Review is provided to help prepare the student for the actual exam. The Final Exam will have a time limit of 2 hours and 45 minutes.

***The student must submit all written work for the test questions. Tests submitted without the accompanying work will not be accepted.

    Module Quizzes (10)

Module Quizzes will be administered through the MyMathLab software. Each quiz has about 10 questions and will be based on the reading and exercises of the assigned Module: Week. There is no time limit for completion. The Module Exercises in each Module: Week must be completed first in order to unlock the first attempt at the quiz. In order to take the second and third attempts of the quiz the student must first complete a post-quiz assignment that will allow the student to review questions missed and take the quiz again.

    Post-Quiz Assigments (10)

The student will have Post-Quiz reviews in the assigned Modules: Weeks. These are only worth 1 point each. The student must complete these assignments in order to open his or her second and third attempts at the Module quizzes.
