Rationale
The field of health care is constantly evolving, impacted by innovation in science and technology, regulated by state, government and corporate entities, and growing in demand. The ultimate goal of the administration of health care is to provide efficient and effective value added products and services to patients and stakeholders, centered on cost, access, and quality of care.

Discussions (8)
Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to create a thread in response to the provided prompt for each discussion. Each thread must be at least 300 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be at least 250 words. Each thread and reply must include a biblical integration and at least 2 peer-reviewed source citations in current APA format (in addition to the textbook).
Healthcare Management Research Project
Annotated Bibliography Assignment
The annotated bibliography requires the student to research 5 scholarly journal articles from peer-reviewed journals to establish research for part 4 of the individual research project. The student will use a provided template to annotate each source. Current APA formatting must be used.
Outline Assignment
The student will complete a full-sentence Outline in preparation for the Final Document of the individual research project. The outline will include a thesis statement, the research question(s)/issue(s) being answered/addressed, how much space will be allotted to each section of the paper, and a preliminary reference list of at least 5 sources.
Draft Assignment
The student will be responsible for submitting a draft document. The draft will be an 800-1,000-word paper in current APA format. The topic area of the paper will be selected from 6 options.
Final Assignment
Each student will be responsible for submitting a final paper. The final submission will be an 800-1,000-word paper in current APA format.
Quizzes (8)
The student will complete 8 open-book/open-note quizzes that contain multiple-choice questions. The student will have 50 minutes to complete each quiz.
