Course Description

This year-long course introduces students to the major themes, characters, and life principles found in the Bible. During the first semester, students learn of the inerrancy and inspiration of Scripture and establish the importance of personal Bible study. After learning and practicing the inductive study method, students use this skill to perform a second-semester overview of the books of the Bible and investigate key topics of faith. Throughout the course, students are challenged to reflect on applying basic Bible knowledge to their daily lives to understand the relevance and application of scripture to contemporary culture.
