Students investigate the physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of topics such as nutrition, overall health, body image, social health, stress, and appropriate use of social media. Additionally, students explore the normal function of major body systems and the disorders associated with those systems. Through safety and first aid training, students will learn CPR skills and the proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
