“I decided to become a physician after dealing with some health problems in my past. I knew that I had been given a unique opportunity to use my previous experiences as a way to minister to those around me.”
What drew you to apply and attend LUCOM?
During my undergraduate career at Liberty University, I saw first-hand the difference in receiving an education that was faith-based. I loved that LUCOM’s mission was faith-based and globally focused!
What about fostering spiritual growth, character development, and academic maturity through LUCOM’s Code of Conduct?
True development as a future physician does not just include the academic aspect of our education, but also includes spiritual development and character building, both inside and outside the classroom. LUCOM provides us with numerous hands-on opportunities to be involved in both local and global events that allow us to cultivate these skills.
What about the faculty at LUCOM?
We have some of the most caring and compassionate faculty. They welcome you with open arms and are always willing to go above and beyond to help us succeed.
What are your thoughts on the LUCOM student-doctor culture?
The environment here is very family-focused and seeks to create an environment of openness and support as we all walk alongside each other throughout this journey. Classmates are willing to share helpful study guides and resources to help each other succeed.
