9/2024 – Employee Reimbursements: Please note that the email notification you normally receive from Payment Services will have updated information as the check pickup option is no longer available for that payment type. Please see Payment Services FAQ webpage for more details.

5/2024 – New P-Cards – Our bank, Truist, has issued new P-Cards. If you have not yet received a new card, please contact the P-Card Office immediately to make arrangements. Any cards left in our office after June 6, 2024 will be closed – meaning, if you need a new P-Card after that date, you will need to repeat the application process. 4/2024 – Please note there will be NO P-Card pick-up on 5/9 or 5/10 due to Commencement activities on campus. 4/2024 – Please view our LU Finance Official FY24 EOY Guidance. 9/2023 – Updated Travel Policy – Our Travel Policy has been updated. To view the policy visit our Procurement Document Library. To learn about the new policy, please visit the New Travel Policy Announcement.

9/2023 – New Finance Services Portal – Access to many common BuyLU and Finance-related tasks is now available through our NEW Finance Services Portal. Tasks like requesting BuyLU Permissions for a user, Requesting a PCard, and the Sam’s Club Card Request (and more) are now available in one place! We’ll continue to add more items to the portal in the future.

9/2023 – For the next 30 days, stock up on PPE and SAVE! All PPE supplies purchased through the LU PPE Inventory tile (on the shopping homepage in BuyLU) will be reimbursed back to your department budget at the beginning of the next month.

9/2023 – You will notice layout changes on requisitions, POs, invoices, and sales orders in BuyLU. Please click here to view the changes and contact buylu@liberty.edu with questions or concerns. Thank you!

7/2023 – The BuyLU system has been upgraded.  As a result, you will notice an icon change on requisitions, POs and invoices.  The hamburger icon in the top right of these documents has been replaced with an arrow icon.  Please click here to view the change.  Thank you!

5/2023 – Our Procurement, Contract, & Signature Authority Policy has been published. To view the policy, please visit our Procurement Document Library.

6/2023 – Contracts – As we approach the final week for the end of the fiscal year, please make sure you are monitoring your emails and Teams for messages from your Contract Administrator and/or BuyLU. It is imperative that you have someone available who can approve both the contract approvals queue and the requisition so we can ensure that your contracts are finalized by EOY. At this point, any last minute contracts we receive this week will be moved below the line. We will be proactive in working them through the queue, but please know there is no guarantee they will get completed by June 30^th.  If you have any questions or urgencies feel free to contact our Contracts Manager, Julie Knowles.”

6/2023 – Purchasing – Please follow up with vendors on outstanding FY23 orders or invoices that have not been received. The Payments dashboard in BuyLU may be utilized to view all invoices requiring receipts. Any items that have been physically received must be received in BuyLU to be applied to FY23. Items received after 7/1 will be paid using FY24 funds. Please feel free to contact Tammy Gilbert with any Purchasing Services questions or concerns.

6/2023 – Payments – As fiscal year-end approaches, please forward any FY23 invoices you’ve received that haven’t already been provided to Payment Services ASAP. Thank you for your patience during this busy time.

5/2023 – As the End of Fiscal Year is approaching, our teams have published guidance to ensure that actions keep progressing forward effectively through Finance. Please review our FY23 EOY Guidance for more information.

4/2023 – The Short Form Contract for Guest Speakers & Performers has been updated to include some additional terms that will be applicable to Contractors providing guest speaking services at Liberty’s Convocation. The approved template has been uploaded to the Procurement Document Library. Please make sure you are using this latest version as the previous one will not be accepted. For any questions, please email the Contracts team.

4/2023 – Our first Procurement & Payment Services newsletter has been launched on April 3rd, 2023. If you missed the newsletter or the Procurement Training Sessions, both are located within our Procurement Document Library to view on-demand. 4/2023 – P-Card Policy Training has been launched as a training course on Canvas. Finance 221: P-Card Policy & Procedures is our new finance course to learn more about the P-Card Policy. Please contact our P-Card Team for more information.

4/2023 – Please explore our new Sodexo Flavours punchout now available on the shopping showcase. This punchout will allow for an easier shopping experience for Catering. This punchout is only for simple orders. If you have a more complex order, you will need to contact Sodexo Flavours.
