Why I became a Personal Trainer: My first experience with personal training challenged years of fear and body dysmorphia by showing me I was stronger than I ever thought possible. My newfound strength and courage was forged by the weight of a barbell and a new way of thinking. This sparked my passion to empower others by teaching them to know their own strengths. I’m here to help women become both courageous and curious in the gym—free from the inhibiting beliefs that underlie self-doubt. I believe that we can be both soft and strong and that the stereotypes placed on women’s bodies deserve to be challenged. It is my privilege to introduce my clients to the joy of self-discovery through intentional motion, and it is my hope that this physical momentum will generate powerful growth in every other facet of their lives.

Why I became a Personal Trainer: I have been interested in improving my physical wellbeing since I was 16. At the time, all my friends told me I “looked fine” and that I “didn’t need to change my appearance”. They didn’t understand my drive to improve my physical well-being went way beyond the aesthetic realm and made a difference mentally and spiritually! At the beginning of my fitness journey, I had no clue where to start. I was intimidated because I did not know what I was doing and I was afraid of hurting myself or looking dumb in front of everyone else at the gym. For years I stuck to the back room of the gym with no idea how to push myself safely or reach the goals I dreamed of. Years later, after pursuing a major in exercise science and becoming a personal trainer, my passion is to help others by educating them and instilling confidence in them where they feel prepared and comfortable in the gym and wherever they go!
