Facility Reservations
All Campus Rec facilities will not be accepting reservations May 9-11 for Commencement weekend.
Hydaway is closed for the summer and will not be accepting reservations May 9-August 14.
Campus Recreation offers a variety of facilities and spaces that are available for rental. Reservation inquiries can be made through submitting a facility request form at least two weeks prior to the date requested. Please review our General Reservation Policies prior to submitting a request.

Challenge Course
The Challenge Course is the perfect opportunity to encourage teams to think outside the box and teach critical lessons.
Campsites & Cabins
Hydaway offers campsite and cabin rentals for students, faculty, and staff.
Pavilion
The Hydaway Pavilion is a great location for birthday parties, baby showers, department events, hall formals, and more.
Woods Pavilion
The Woods Pavilion is located on the Liberty Mountain Trail System near the campsites. This location has a bonfire space and would be a great meeting space to reserve while camping.
Recreational Courts
The LaHaye Recreational Courts are a diverse reservation option hosting a variety of events such as tournaments, department events, and more.
Reservation options include:
- Up to 7 basketball courts
- Up to 9 volleyball courts
- Up to 4 racquetball courts
- Equipment such as basketballs, pennies, and score clocks
- Additional tables and chairs are available upon request
- Food is not allowed on the courts
Thomas Indoor Soccer Center
The Thomas Indoor Soccer Center hosts a variety of events such as tournaments, department events, and more.
Reservation options include:
- Up to 2 AstroTurf 3D Synthetic regulation fields
- Equipment such as dodgeballs, pennies, and soccer balls
- Access to high-top tables and bleachers
- Additional tables and chairs are available upon request
- Food is not allowed on the fields
Studio Room
Studio 5 (Cross Training Room) is perfect for dance practices, Coffeehouse rehearsals, and more. The studio is not able to be utilized for fundraisers or private fitness classes/training.
- Food is not allowed in the studio
- Tap shoes are not allowed
- AUX cords are not provided for the sound system
Rock Wall
The Rock Wall is a perfect spot to reserve for a team bonding activity! Rock Wall reservations include access to the 4,000 sqft climbing area, 40 ft climbing tower, and rental equipment such as shoes, chalk, and harnesses.
Aquatic Center
Aquatic Center reservations include access to six 25 yd lanes and one 1-meter diving board. The Aquatic Center is available for lap swimming and academic reservations.
Equipment available for reservations includes:
- Training Fins
- Kickboards
- Jogger
- Weight Belts
- Pull Buoys
Montview Bowling Alley
The Montview Bowling Alley is outfitted with 8 lanes and a lounge space with high-top tables, a seating area, arcade games, billiards, and flat-screen TVs. This facility is a great option for staff events, birthday parties, hall activities, and more.
- 6 lanes are reservable. 2 lanes are always left open for walk-in patrons.
- Reservations must be 2 or more lanes with a maximum of 6 bowlers/lane.
- Reservation group rates include lane use, bowling balls, and shoe rentals.
- Lane bumpers and ball ramps are available.
Banquet Table
The banquet table is housed in the Brown Room of the Barrick-Falwell Lodge. This table reservation is perfect for smaller gatherings.
- Accommodates up to 20 guests
- Includes 10 2-hour combo passes with the opportunity to purchase more at the group rate
Half Upper Lodge
The Half Lodge (Brown Room) is a great reservation opportunity for staff meetings, staff lunches, parties, hall events, and more. Reservation includes pipe and drape to provide a more exclusive environment. Please note that the elevator to the second floor of the lodge must be available for ADA guests during your reservation.
- Accommodates 50 seated guests
- Layouts are available for 6ft round tables or 8ft rectangular tables
- Please note that this space is only half of the 2nd floor of the lodge, and the facility will be open for regular operations
Full Upper Lodge
The Full Lodge is a great reservation opportunity for larger parties, hall events, and more. Reservation includes pipe and drape to provide a more exclusive environment. Please note that the elevator to the second floor of the lodge is in the Brown Room and must be available for ADA guests during your reservation.
- Accommodates 80 seated guests
- Layouts are available for 6ft round tables or 8ft rectangular tables
- Please note that this space is the full 2nd floor of the lodge, and the facility will be open for regular operations
Combo Pass Group Rate
Groups require a minimum of 20 people to receive the group rate and must be prescheduled and approved.

Intramural Complex Beach Courts
The beach courts are a great space for hall volleyball tournaments, department events, and more.
- Up to 4 sand courts are available for reservation
- Food is not allowed on the fields
- No equipment is provided
Intramural Complex Turf Fields
The turf fields are permanently lined for ultimate frisbee, soccer, and flag football. These are the main activities available for this space.
- Up to three turf fields are available for reservation
- Food is not allowed on the fields
- No equipment is provided
Intramural Complex Softball Field
The softball field is perfect for hall or departmental softball and kickball tournaments.
- Food is not allowed on the fields
- No equipment is provided
Campus East Basketball Court
The Campus East court is available to students, faculty, and staff on a first-come, first-serve basis with the exception of confirmed reservations.
- Courts are for sports play only
- Explicit, inappropriate music is not permitted
- No food, glass containers, or pets are permitted on the courts
The Hill Basketball Court
The Hill court is available to students, faculty, and staff on a first-come, first-serve basis with the exception of confirmed reservations.
