International Elective Rotations for OMS-IV Students

Options for international elective rotations are available for all OMS-IV students. Through the Office of Clinical Rotations, students approaching their fourth-year can apply for a fully-funded international rotation with Samaritan’s Purse and World Medical Mission.

Students and faculty have participated in 4-week international rotations with Samaritan’s Purse in areas such as Kenya, Rwanda, Zambia, and Togo, West Africa. Apply above for one of the twelve fully funded spots with Samaritan’s Purse. Dates and locations are dependent upon hospital availability.

If you would like to pursue your own international rotation site, complete the application above. Independent rotations are self-funded and coordinated through your sending organization. LUCOM osteopathic students have traveled to Bolivia, Dominican Republic, Panama, Peru, Mexico, Cambodia, and many other locations for international elective rotations.
