Graduate Medical Education (GME) Health Requirements
LUCOM Graduate Medical Education Services (LUCOM GMES) staff will review your immunization records and Post-Offer Immunization and Communicable Disease form. As a LUCOM GMES applicant, you will receive information and instructions on how to complete the health review pre-employment process and communication on any additional required immunizations, or if a pre-employment drug screen is needed.
Attending LUCOM GMES orientation, starting your training program, and all patient contact will be prohibited until up-to-date immunization records are documented and the pre-employment drug screen has been completed and results have been documented.
GME Licensure Requirements
LUCOM GMES requires that your final licensing exams be taken as follows:
- U.S./Canadian graduates and international medical graduates
LUCOM GMES Deadline: Exam is taken and score results received prior to Feb. 1 of first post-graduate year - Trainees who have completed or are completing the required ACGME accredited training at another institution
LUCOM GMES Deadline: Exam is taken and score results received prior to Feb. 1 of their first post-graduate training year
