Campus Recreation Memberships
Be an active member of the Liberty University community with a Campus Recreation membership! From LaHaye Recreation & Fitness Center, to Montview Bowling Alley, to David’s Place Pool, we have plenty of options for you to enjoy.
All students and members are required to present a valid Flames Pass or issued Membership Card prior to entering the facilities. Any individuals with an “invalid card” will be denied access and directed to the ID & Campus Services office.
Summer Memberships
Faculty/Staff All-Rec Pass | $399
This membership grants you and 5 guests access to David’s Place Pool, Montview Bowling Alley, and Snowflex. Guest must be identified at time of purchase and cannot be changed once selected. Additional perks are:
- Bowling shoe and ski rentals are included.
- All-Rec Pass Holders are eligible for a 10% discount on one group event or party reservation at Snowflex or Montview Bowling Alley between May 13–August 16.
- All-Rec Pass Holders will receive 10 individual guest passes to be used at David’s Place, Montview Bowling Alley, or Snowflex between May 13–August 16.
- All-Rec Pass Holders will also receive free access to Summer 2024 Family Fun Friday Snowflex events (Valued at $10/person).
- Families (mother, father and children) exceeding 6 in total could be eligible to add all family members to the pass. Please contact lahayerec@liberty.edu for details. Additional documentation may be required.
General Public All-Rec Pass | $499
This membership grants you and 5 immediate family members (i.e., spouse, children, grandparents) access to David’s Place Pool, Montview Bowling Alley, and Snowflex. Additional perks are:

LaHaye Recreation & Fitness Center Memberships

LUO & Residential Graduate Students
Liberty University faculty and staff who are directly paid by the University are eligible for memberships to LaHaye Recreation & Fitness Center. Through the summer and winter breaks, faculty and staff have access to LaHaye Rec & Fit at all operational hours through the Early Bird Membership.
Intramural Sports: When registering for an Intramural Sport in LaHaye Recreation & Fitness Center, all faculty/staff, graduate, and law school students must purchase a membership to the facility or pay a $5 guest fee for every game to be eligible to play.
Early Bird
This membership allows faculty and staff to utilize LaHaye Rec & Fit at certain hours and David’s Place at all operational hours for free. Standard Group Exercise classes that are within the Early Bird hours are also included. LaHaye access hours are:
- Monday–Friday | Open–3 p.m.
- Saturday–Sunday | All hours of operation
- Optional Locker Rental | $40 Semester $60 Annual

Spouses of Liberty University employees and students are eligible to purchase a membership to LaHaye Recreation & Fitness Center. To verify eligibility, the prospective member must stop by the Member Services Desk at LaHaye Rec & Fit with his/her spouse to verify Liberty employment and marriage. Please bring the following documents with you:

Liberty University Online and residential graduate students are eligible to purchase LaHaye Recreation & Fitness Center memberships during the times they are financially checked-in and enrolled in classes.
Graduate students registered for the entire semester are eligible to purchase a membership. LUO students registered for both B and D terms are eligible to purchase a membership, but LUO students registered solely for either B or D terms are not eligible to purchase a membership. Membership fees do not apply to graduate students who have paid the activity fee and are financially checked in.

Intensive students are eligible to use LaHaye Recreation & Fitness Center and David’s Place while on campus for an intensive class. Visit the Member Services Desk of LaHaye Rec & Fit with your valid Flames Pass to sign-up for a free membership for the duration of the intensive.
LaHaye Recreation & Fitness Center members are permitted to sponsor up to 2 guests per day. The guests must be accompanied by the sponsor for their entire duration in the facility.
Guest Policies
- All guests are required to pay a $10 daily membership fee.
- All guests are required to sign in at the Member Services Desk.
- All guests must be accompanied by their sponsor for the entire duration in the facility.
- Note: Liberty University alumni are eligible to purchase a $5 day pass without needing a sponsor. Alumni verification may be required.
Age Requirements
- Guests under the age of 17 who don’t have a valid picture I.D. must be with someone who has a valid I.D.
- Guests under the age of 18 must stay with their sponsor at all times when in the facility.
- Guests must be 15 years old to utilize the Recreational Courts and Thomas Indoor Soccer Center fields
- Guests must be 17 to utilize all fitness areas and equipment.
Visitor Policy
Families of students or members are welcome to tour the facility at no charge at any time during normal operating hours. Touring families need to show photo I.D. and sign in.
Exceptions to the Visitor Policy will be made for on-campus visitation weekends such as CFAW, Homecoming, Alumni, and Parents weekends. These exceptions will be determined by Campus Recreation staff and will be posted at the front desk of each facility. Please contact 434-592-3148 with any questions.
Purchase a Group Ex Plus Membership for unlimited access to over 70 Group Exercise classes for an entire semester, including Group Ex Plus classes. These popular classes are led by our instructors who have a higher level of experience and credentials as a group fitness instructor in their class format.

Montview Bowling Alley Memberships
Montview Bowling Alley memberships are available to the Liberty community at a low cost. Memberships are also available to the general public during the summer. All Montview Bowling Alley memberships can be purchased directly at the Bowling Alley.
Locker rentals (lock included) are available to semester members for an additional $10. Shoe rentals are included with all memberships.
