Wellness in the Workplace, Lynchburg Business Magazine

C. David Ianuzzo, PhDLiberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM) Professor of Physiology C. David Ianuzzo, PhD, is featured in the April/May issue of Lynchburg Business Magazine (LBM). The article focuses on employee wellness in the workplace.

According to Dr. Ianuzzo, the intent was to present a broad overview of what components need to be considered in order to accomplish the mission of a business and increase productivity. “Wellness in the workplace fosters a positive environment,” said Dr. Ianuzzo. “A positive environment encourages doing things without complaining and arguing as we are instructed too in the book of Philippians.”

The Osteopathic philosophy focuses on preventative medicine and overall wellness of the body, mind, and spirit. Dr. Ianuzzo hopes that his article benefits employees and the businesses in which they work for, leading to a supportive atmosphere in which employees can enjoy and be more productive with less absence.
