Dr. Martin has been board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) since 2007.
Dr. Martin’s academic interests include curriculum design, competency-based assessment, and the early identification and support of at-risk learners. He is particularly focused on developing structured, data-informed approaches to student success and aligning medical education with national standards and board readiness outcomes.
Grounded in his Christian faith, Dr. Martin is committed to serving others with integrity, compassion, and purpose. His faith informs his approach to leadership, education, and patient care. He also has a strong interest in medical missions and the role of service in addressing healthcare disparities both locally and globally.
