The Student Checklist is your step‑by‑step guide to becoming a registered student. It keeps you organized throughout the enrollment and registration process by conveniently categorizing your tasks. At a glance, you can see what you still need to complete, what’s coming up next, and what you’ve already finished. This makes it easier to stay on track, meet important deadlines, and move confidently toward becoming an official Liberty University student.
Please note: Firefox and Google Chrome are the recommended internet browsers for accessing the Student Checklist.
You may also access the tool through the myLU portal in the My Access section.
Highlights

The checklist items are grouped into four easy-to-follow tabs, based on status:

Upcoming
- Shows items that will be available in the future at a specified date or after a prerequisite is met.

Pending
- Displays items that are pending LU approval(s).

Completed
- Lists items that have been completed.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How can I access my checklist?
- Visit https://checklist.liberty.edu (You may bookmark it for later use).
- myLU: www.mylu.liberty.edu
Please note that the checklist does not currently support College of Osteopathic Medicine and School of Law programs.
Are all students’ checklists the same?
Not all checklists are the same. Your checklist may look different depending on factors such as your past education, the degree you’re seeking, and the benefits you will be using.
What happens if I miss the due date on an item?
Checklist items include due dates set by the department overseeing them. If you have concerns or missed the due date of a required item, your advisor or the department listed on the item can provide additional information.
What happens if a checklist item has an error message, such as missing a signature?
If a checklist item contains an error message, update the item with the required correction and resubmit it. If you’re unsure what to do, please contact the department responsible for that item.
Why does my checklist item still show ‘To Do’ even though I recently completed this step?
Some checklist items need manual attention from the department. They will update the checklist status once they receive the item and complete their review. For additional support, you can contact the department handling your submission using the contact information on the checklist item.
How can I allow someone else to access my checklist?
You can give others permission to view your checklist through Shared Access. Keep in mind that this access is view‑only; they won’t be able to take any actions for you.
I had previously completed all my checklist items. Why do I have new items assigned now?
Admissions, registration, and financial aid requirements aren’t always completed in a straight line. Sometimes submitting one item can create new requirements. We recommend checking your checklist regularly, even after your courses have started.
