Senate

About the Senate
The Legislative branch of Student Government affords students the opportunity to make a real difference on our campus. The Senate serves as one of the two Houses in the Legislative branch and is comprised of two representatives from each School, who are appointed by their respective Deans. The Senate meets every other week and is a place for students to share ideas, collaborate and work together towards the betterment of the schools of study which comprise our university.

Senate President
Braeden Boerger
Hello! My name is Braeden Boerger, and I am the Senate President for the 2025-2026 school year! I am a Junior studying Electrical Engineering, and I come from the great state of Alaska. I started serving in SGA in the House my freshman year, but started in the Senate that Spring. This year, I am extremely excited to lead the Senate and serve the student body at this great University! You can usually find me doing work in the SGA offices or hanging around the Hill courtyard. If you need anything, stop by the office on the 3rd floor of Montview, or shoot me an email!
