Voter Registration

As a Liberty student, you have the option to register to vote using your on-campus or off-campus address. Lynchburg, Virginia is your home while you are here at Liberty, and voting allows you to have a direct impact on how our local community and state are governed.
You can learn more about voting and voter registration on our informational webpage.
Current Efforts
Liberty University continues to encourage students to register to vote by:
- Providing voter information through the Office of Government Relations.
- During the spring semesters, the Office of Government Relations presents voter registration information to parents and incoming students attending the annual “Parent Sessions” event, including instructions on how students can get registered to vote and instructions on how residential students can vote at Liberty’s on-campus precinct.
- The Office of Government Relations has held and will continue to hold many meetings with student clubs, in which club leaders are informed of voter registration and ongoing efforts throughout the year, in which they can choose to get involved.
- During the fall semesters, the Office of Government Relations shares information regarding voter registration and the November general elections with all Liberty University residential faculty, for the purpose of sharing the information with students in every residential class.
- During the fall and spring semesters, certified staff members and volunteers are available around Liberty’s campus to provide students with answers to their voting and election day questions, as well as offer them the chance to fill out a voter registration application.
- Email and text blast campaigns to all students, faculty, and staff are sent by the Office of Government Relations, which include information on how to get registered to vote, deadline and election day reminders, links to register to vote, and links to find answers for commonly asked voting questions.
