- 2021-2022:
- Undergraduate: up to $2,000
- Fall and Spring: $1,000/semester
- Must be full-time enrolled
- Graduate: up to $1,100
- Fall and Spring: $550/semester
- Must be full-time enrolled
- Fall and Spring: $550/semester
- Fall and Spring: $1,000/semester
- Undergraduate Grandfathered Students: up to $600
- Fall and Spring: $300/semester
- Must be full-time enrolled
- Fall and Spring: $300/semester
- Graduate Grandfathered Students: up to $500
- Fall and Spring: $250/semester
- Undergraduate: up to $2,000
Eligibility:
- Must complete the 2022-2023 VTAG Application
- You can now e-sign the application! Digital Signature Instructions
- The 2021-22 VTAG Application deadline has passed
- Students who have previously received VTAG do not need to submit a new application unless changing from undergraduate to graduate, or if they have broken enrollment.
- Must be a Virginia domiciled resident
- Must not have moved to Virginia for purposes of attending post-secondary school
- New or returning student online student who is eligible for VTAG for the 2021-2022 academic year.
- Awarded for qualifying majors only
- Only CIP Code 51 majors are eligible at the graduate level
- A list of eligible programs can be found here and mirror the current VTAG eligible majors
- LUTAG is not available to students switching from Liberty University’s on-campus residential program
- Cannot be stacked with LUO Advantage promotional 15% discounts. Will stack with the First Responder Discount, Liberty Advantage Corporate Discount and the Military Tuition Discount.
- Students who are awarded LUTAG are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually, along with any corresponding aid reviews.
Deadlines:
- LUTAG will be awarded based on VTAG eligibility and deadlines.
*Liberty University plans to offer this new award each year; however, it reserves the right to annually change the award amounts, eligibility requirements, and the populations awarded, as well as discontinue the program. LUTAG will not credit as a refund and will be reduced if there is an overage. LUTAG will also follow the General Scholarship Rule.
