Biography
Dr. Dwayne Melton has more than 17 years of experience in higher education leadership, with expertise in student success services, academic operations, strategic program development, and assessment across both residential and online learning environments. His professional background spans academic administration, enrollment and retention initiatives, and student support services.
Prior to his work in higher education, Dr. Melton served in the U.S. Air Force, held roles in sales and operations management, county parks and recreation programming, and a faith-based nonprofit organization focused on community engagement. His diverse experiences have shaped a collaborative leadership approach centered on student achievement and organizational effectiveness.
