Academic Caution

Advisors By Area Of Study

First Semester Guidelines

Students accepted on Academic Caution are required to follow the guidelines listed below:

  • First-semester schedule of 12-14 hours
  • Student must enroll in Mentoring 101

Mentoring 101 (MENT 101)

This course is designed to provide instruction in study strategies and life skills basic to the successful transition to the university. Within a small group setting, instructors will mentor students in their understanding and application of these concepts. If you have any questions or need further information about this course please visit the Academic Success Center webpage.

Class Registration

Once you have completed Financial Check-In and taken your Math and English Assessments, please contact the College of Applied Studies & Academic Success (CASAS) by e-mail at Success@Liberty.edu to register for classes.

Moving to Good Standing

At the end of the students first semester, if the student attains a GPA of 1.50 or higher the student will be placed on Academic Good Standing. Likewise, if the student attains a 1.49 GPA or lower they will be placed on Academic Warning.
