Minor in Flight Education

Residential Program for the Flight Education Minor
Pursue your flight instructor certifications through our School of Aeronautics Flight Education Minor at Liberty University. Here, you can learn how to instruct in the classroom and in the aircraft using our fleet of modern training aircraft and state-of-the-art flight simulators.
This minor is designed to prepare you for the following Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certifications:
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
- Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII)
- Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI)
Earning your flight instructor certification can assist you in gaining flight experience as you prepare for your future aviation career. Learn from our experienced professors who have manned aviation experience, including airline, military, and charter operations.
This minor is open to students in any major. Prerequisites apply.
