Liberty University Student Veterans Association

Club Mission Statement

The Liberty University Student Veterans Association (LUSVA) is a Liberty University and LU SERVE (CSER) approved student group that is affiliated with Student Veterans of America. LUSVA purposes itself to serve the veterans on and off-campus while fostering a tradition of camaraderie, mentorship and educational success among veterans of Liberty University.

What to Expect as a Member

LUSVA will host two mandatory group meetings per semester. We will also host a few events and activities throughout the semester. In addition to these meetings and events. LUSVA will also host service events within the Lynchburg community that specifically target veterans that need and hand up.

Club Accomplishments

Our most recent accomplishment for which we are most proud is the institution of Vet-2-Vet Tutoring which allows student veterans struggling with math and writing to be tutored by veterans that understand the difficulty of transitioning from military service to civilian education.
