Club Mission Statement

The Liberty University Student Veterans Association (LUSVA) is a Liberty University and LU SERVE (CSER) approved student group that is affiliated with Student Veterans of America. LUSVA purposes itself to serve veterans bot on and off-campus while fostering a tradition of camaraderie, mentorship, and educational success among veterans of Liberty University.

What to Expect as a Member

LUSVA will host two mandatory group meetings per semester. We will also host a few events and activities throughout the semester. In addition to these meetings and events. LUSVA will also host service events within the Lynchburg community that specifically target veterans who need a hand up.

Club Accomplishments

Our most recent accomplishment for which we are most proud is the institution of Vet-2-Vet Tutoring, which allows student veterans struggling with math and writing to be tutored by veterans who understand the difficulty of transitioning from military service to civilian education.
