Police Officers
LUPD is seeking certified law enforcement officers. If you are a qualified out-of-state candidate, you may be eligible for a modified Option 5 Academy.
Security Officers
Serve on our armed security team and help protect our community. You’ll receive required training and certifications, with the opportunity for career advancement to become a police officer through the Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy.
