Professional Pilot

LUSOA operates top-of-the-line training aircraft and flight simulators that have Garmin G1000 flight systems and several additional safety systems such as Angle of Attack (AOA) indicators and Automatic Dependent  Surveillance – Broadcast  (ADS-B) to enhance training and safety.  Other unique features of the training programs include upset recovery training in the Extra 330 high-performance aircraft during the Commercial Pilot course, and spin training in the Extra 330 during the initial flight instructor course.  Students have the opportunity to be employed as school flight instructors on completion of the flight instructor certificate.
