Ian Dutkus

Biography
Ian Dutkus serves as the Executive Director of Operations. He currently leads the AMTP Operations, Flight Operations, and Simulator Operations teams. He has a passion for the mission of the Liberty School of Aeronautics, which is to Train champions for Christ, equipping and mentoring students to represent Christ in the professional aviation world. He coordinates with the FAA, Airport Management, as well as maintenance providers, aircraft retailers, and simulator providers to ensure the facilities and equipment provided for the student training are of the highest caliber. Ian Dutkus began his journey at Liberty as an undergraduate student in 2010, graduating in 2014, and joining the flight instructor cadre in 2015. Most of his career has focused on aviation operations, and he has held different roles within LUSOA related to operational support of the daily training efforts. His aviation background is highly focused on General Aviation (GA) training operations, with some experience in sport aerobatics and upset prevention and recovery training.
