Dr. Benoit began teaching at Liberty in 2005 in the School of Religion in Women’s Ministry and taught there for six years before beginning full-time with FACS in 2012. Dr. Benoit teaches Family and Child Development classes.

She also developed and teaches the first Seminary’s Women’s Ministry class for LU online.

In January, 2014, Dr. Benoit was appointed Chair of the Family & Consumer Sciences department.

Biography

My husband, David, and I were married in 1977 have been in full-time ministry in evangelism for over 30 years. We have two children – a son, Brandon who teaches in the International Christian School in Uijongbu, S. Korea, and a daughter, Lindsay, who owns a salon and spa in Lynchburg.
