Who We Are

Kappa Omicron Nu and Liberty’s Nu Psi chapter are excited to welcome you into the KON society. As part of the KON organization, our goal is to create a space for you to thrive, grow, and pursue goals in the field of Human Services. We want you to live as empowered leaders and Champions for Christ. Through lifelong opportunities and with a service-based mindset, KON can help you grow into a professional individual ready to take on new challenges and explore the world around you.

We value strong affiliate networks, continued advancements in one’s profession, and recognition of quality scholarship, leadership, and research. In KON Nu Psi, activities are designed to integrate co-curricular and academic goals through collaboration with faculty and campus or community organizations.

Member Qualifications

Membership in Kappa Omicron Nu is based on the following requirements:

A declared major in FACS – Interior Design, Family and Child Development, Event Planning, Professional & Creative Industries, Fashion Design, or Fashion Merchandising
3.3 GPA
Junior or Senior student
$60 membership fee

All meetings are at 5 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted:

September 14, 2026 – KON Orientation Meeting
October 12, 2026 – KON Meeting
November 16, 2026 – KON Meeting

Spring 2027 Meeting Dates

All meetings are at 5 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted:

February 8, 2027 – KON Meeting
March 8, 2027 – KON Meeting
April 5, 2027 – KON Induction Meeting
