May 18th is the tentative departure date; we will add an extra day for the fashion tour. The image below is from the Summer 2015 fashion tour. We had a private fashion visit in Paris with designer Elise Hamaeu.
Our departure will be from Washington D.C. On this trip, we will visit many points of interest such as Dodge’s Palace, a glass-blowing demonstration, Duomo: leather–making demonstration, Basilica of St. Francis, the Ruins of Pompeii, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Coliseum, Roman Forum, and other fascinating sites.
For Interior Design/Architecture students, we will study the very famous buildings mentioned in the above list of sites. For Fashion Merchandising students, we will study Italian fashion and leather and possibly visit a shoe museum in Florence.
