Due to low enrollment, the Italy tour for 2016 is canceled. We needed six travelers and we did not meet our goal. The FACS Department hopes to have future plans of travel for the future. Keep checking this site for updates.
Normally we add an extra day for a fashion tour. The image below is from the Summer 2015 fashion tour. We had a private fashion visit in Paris with designer Elise Hamaeu.
Our departures are normally from Washington D.C. In the past for example, on the Italy trip, we visited many points of interest such as Dodge’s Palace, a glass-blowing demonstration, Duomo: leather–making demonstration, Basilica of St. Francis, the Ruins of Pompeii, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Coliseum, Roman Forum, and other fascinating sites.
For Interior Design/Architecture students, we studied the very famous buildings mentioned in the above list of sites. For the fashion students, we usually study Italian fashion and merchandising.
