Admissions Test for BSN Applicants

All applicants to Liberty’s BSN Program are required to take the HESI Admissions Assessment (A2) Test. The assessment test is timed, lasting approximately 4 hours, and evaluates vocabulary, general knowledge, grammar, anatomy and physiology, biology, and math. The test is electronic, and students will be required to use their personal laptops.

• Tuesday, January 27 – 1 p.m.

• Wednesday, January 28 – 9 a.m.*
  • Montview Alumni Ballroom (3rd floor Montview Student Center)
• Monday, February 2 – 1 p.m.

*If you have a testing accommodation approved by the Office of Disability Accommodation Support (ODAS), you must take the A2 test during the 9 a.m. test time and report to the Liberty University Testing Center.

Test Registration

To complete registration for the HESI A2 test, you must complete all steps below:

Step 1 – Create Elsevier Account

Step 2 – Complete HESI Student Orientation
Orientation includes the following modules*:

• Hesi NG A2 Student Orientation
• Registration
• Taking the Exam
• Viewing your Results
• Remediation

*Students are required to view all modules before coming to the exam on test day.

Step 3 – Register and purchase HESI A2 test before arriving to test.
The purchase fee is $55 (paid at the time of registration).

Students: When registering for the upcoming A2 exams, please follow all information previously communicated and use the links below to select the correct version of the A2 exam.  

If you have a testing accommodation approved by the Office of Disability Accommodation Support (ODAS), you must take the ODAS A2 test. If you have already registered for the exam and need to take the ODAS version, click “Unregister” beside the exam you have registered for, then click on the appropriate link below to register for the ODAS A2.
